This document explains how ELIA, s.r.o. uses cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, analytics tags, and similar technologies on websites and in the ELIA Asistent service.

2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small files stored on a user's device. Other technologies can work in a similar way, such as localStorage or sessionStorage in the browser, analytics tags, security tokens, or session identifiers.
We use them mainly to:
- ensure the functioning of the website and the service,
- store user settings,
- remember the user's cookie consent choice,
- protect against abuse and spam,
- measure traffic and improve the website, if the user has consented to this.
3. Categories of Technologies

Analytics and marketing technologies are activated only when the user has given consent, unless applicable law allows another approach.
4. Technologies Used on the Website
On the ELIA Asistent website, we use or may use mainly the following technologies:

Specific cookie names may change depending on the browser version, third-party service settings, or website configuration. If the chat widget is deployed on a customer's website, cookies and browser storage may also be governed by that customer's own rules.
5. Chat Widget and Customer Deployments
ELIA Asistent may also be embedded on customers' websites. In that case, the widget may use browser storage to store technical settings, window open/closed state, language preference, a session identifier, or history needed to continue a conversation.
If you use the widget on our customer's website, the controller of the processing is usually that customer. Information about cookies and data processing should be provided by the customer in their own policies.
6. Consent Management
On the first visit to the website, we display a cookie banner through which you can accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your decision by opening cookie settings in the website footer or by deleting stored data in your browser.
If you reject analytics cookies, the website sets consent mode so that analytics storage is not activated. Necessary technologies remain enabled because the website or requested function may not work properly without them.
7. Browser Settings
You can also manage cookies in your browser settings. Your browser allows you to block or delete cookies, or to set a notification before they are stored. Blocking some technologies may affect website functionality, login, language settings, or the functioning of the chat interface.
8. Third Parties
Some technologies are provided by third parties, mainly Google and Cloudflare. These third parties may process technical data when providing their services, such as IP address, device identifiers, or browser data.

9. Changes to This Document
